Question How to remove Veritas Volume Manager 3.5 and add S. DiskSuite
I am brand new to UNIX and have been given the task to remove veritas volume manager 3.5 mirroring and install Disksuite mirror from two Solaris 5.8 servers. I have seen many plans but they are very confusing since I am so new. Does anyone know where I can find step by step instructions to perform these tasks?

How many drives are you dealing with on each system? Is it just two internal drives on each system, or are you having to deal with additional internal or external drives? If it's just two internal drives, it's very simple as its just encapsulated UFS.

Thanks for your reply. This thank you is a few "years" late but I never got a chance to come back to see that someone actually responded. BTW I was able to resolve that issue and completed the project. This time around I plan to use this forum on a regular basis.
