3 weeks ago, I assume you found the information now?

I'm a newbie too, that error hit twice, being me, Ireinstalled xp first again, then after the 2nd time actually went online with my other comp to find out why.

I just made sure to reset the first partition (XP) one to active. Apparently, the creating partitions portion of the install would make the new solaris partition active. Once it booted from partition 1 as active, the solaris screen boot prompt took over.

Course it took 2 full installs to get me to actually search on the internet for the fix.

Hi,

For this problem try install Solaris without network option, and configure network when SO installed.

Sorry my english. Smilie
