[Solved] Question changing timezone rules / zic

Dear,

One of our customer which is located in Iraq/Baghdad, has informed us about a official change in daylight saving time in few days later and has asked us to fix this issue.

So, the current timezone of that system is set as 'Asia/Baghdad' which is correct. however to fix the issue I went into zoneinfo/src and correct the required rules in 'asia' file and re-compile it by 'zic'.

So, I would like to know as there is no timezone change for operating system, and we've just modified and recompile the rules for same timezone, system reboot is required for applying the change ? or the system will read the modified rule without system restart ?
