Solaris 10: Listing the memory usage based on UNIX user wise.

Hello All

I have a Solaris 10 machine, wherein processes are run in various unix users.
a. How do I list the memory usage per user?
b. Can I get a top command kind of output per user rather than entire machine?

Thanks
Sunil Kumar

You can use prstat with -t option:
Code:
prstat –t

Code:
ps -eo pid,rss,vsz,pcpu,user,args |
{ read h; echo $h; sort -nk2; }

Sum per user
Code:
ps -e -o rss= -o user= |
awk '{s[$2]+=$1} END {for (i in s)print i,s[i]}'
