add a file output to .profile file
hi guys,

i have created a file and i want to add that file to my .profile file. is there a way??
the file has .c extension. when i give "./a.out filename" my file which has been added to .profile has to execute.Smilie

I'm not sure I understand what you want. If your file has some shell commands, just add them to .profile, or, save them under a script name and call that from within. If it's an executable, run it from within .profile.
If I misguessed completely, pls be more specific in your request.

i have the executable file. is it enough if i alias the path of the executable file to use it as an command??

You can run the command by a) specifying the entire path b) adding the path to your PATH environment variable and calling the command name.
