How to copy over sudo file

Dear all,

I am working on a Solaris 10 (x86 box), trying to copy over the sudo file. I get the folowing error:

#cp -p /usr/nbox/install/x86/sudo /bin
cp: cannot create /bin/sudo: Read-only file system

I appreciate any information you can share with me.

/bin is on your system disk (filesystem). It is mounted read-only. That means you cannot write to /bin (cp writes files).

Please post the output of the following command:
Code:
cat /etc/mnttab

Jim,

The /etc/mnttab is a large file and has internal information. Can I grep for a file from the /etc/mnttab ?
