Bug Installation of Solaris 10 on Thinkpad

Hi Folks!
I use Solaris 10 on my desktop but would like to start using it on my laptop, which is a Thinkpad T400. I am moderately experienced in using Solaris but don't have much experience in installing it on anything other than my desktop. It seems I've managed to get it installed on the T400, and though it seems to display fine in console mode, the GUI doesn't display quite right - everything, from the login screen to the GUI desktop, displays much larger than it ought to. I tried experimenting with different display settings using /usr/openwin/bin/xorgconfig, but nothing seems to work. But that might be because I don't know the actual specs (horizontal/vertical sync range, etc) of the T400 display, and I can't find that info anywhere, nor can I find any general info on the matter - at least nothing I can make sense of.

I have also tried altering the display options in the BIOS between Integrated/Discrete/Switchable graphics (as well as disabled "OS Detection for Switchable Graphics") and neither option seems to help. One of the options (I forget which one) completely messed up the screen.

So anyways, I was wondering if anyone might know how to get the GUI to display all nice and crisp and properly-sized as it would on a desktop.

Thanks!
