Are my computer valid for Solaris

It's my first post in your forum
I have a Pentium 4 processor and Motherboard Gigabyte with Intel chipset and 80 GB hard disk .My question is :
Are my computer valid for Solaris os ???
Are the Solaris is free like Fedora and Suse ??
(sorry for my bad English because I'm not English man)

yes, solaris10 is free, by the way: redhat and suse aren't free if you take the server version, with solaris10 you can use also the server features for free....

relating to our rules:

you won't get an anwere from me, but if you are looking to the spreading, solaris has over 50% share of the unix-market and about 25% of the whole server market (win-linux-unix).... but beware, you should think about what you will do with the computer and then deside what you will try.... every OS has good and bad sides Smilie
