copy crash dump file

Hi gurus,

I will be glad if anyone can help me with this:

How do you copy a crash dump file to send to your support provider?

Thanks lots guys.

Most of those core files are big.
By send I'm guessing you mean email.

Can you be a little more exact:
1. email?
2. do you have enough disk free space to compress or otherwise duplicate the file?
3. is your unix box able to send email outside your firewall?
