I have installed using tar a program called rabbitmq, and when I try to start it according to documentation, I get the following error:

I hope everyone is fine and doing well. I want to learn Assembly language for SPARC architecture. Is there any emulator available for 64 bit SPARC on which one can install Oracle Solaris 11 SPARC version. And ofcourse on my intel laptop computer???

In my Solaris 10 - Netra CP3060, the following particular script is not running:
lrc:/etc/rc2_d/S00set-tmp-permissions
lrc:/etc/rc2_d/S07set-tmp-permissions

We set-up master/slave servers for NIS on Solaris10 Sparc. We are trying to synchronize them in such a way that if one server is down then other server would pick-up and also do load balancing. hey. i have been installing the VNC server from the solaris Companion cd under solaris 8 SPARC,
when i try to open the vncserver i get: Xvnc is not in your PATH, how do i add it to the PATH ? and how do i install it if i need to do that,

I know that Sun make s a version of Solaris for Sparc platforms and also an x86 (Intel/AMD) release of Solaris. Can an application that runs on Solaris/Sparc also run on a PC running the x86 release of Solaris? Would a different release be required or any re-compling of the application?
