Sun JDE 5.1

OK I did something to the "taskbar" and need some help. This should be real easy btw. When I "minimize", the file drops down toward the network connection icon (not one of the 4 screensets). I have no way to bring the file back for some reason. Im sure this is simple but Im not having any luck.

Also if I log in under the KDE desktop I can get to the SUN Workstation Tools, but there not shown in JDE 5.1. Where is it and do I need to install it?

Thanks for any help provided. Smilie

SUN Workstation Tools is in integral part of the Sun version of the CDE window environment, that is why you don't have them in Gnome and you don't need them.

In Gnome, if you right click on the panel, you will have the option to add an items to the to the panel. I can't remember what the one your looking for is, somethink like tasklist I think.

Well I got the minimized thing - Right click - "Add to Panel" - "Utility" - "Window List". I knew I should have got that. I'll keep searching for the Admin tool. Surely I can get to it in JDE.

console

No the "Solaris Management Console 2.1" - where is that? (besides seeing it in CDE). Looking for it in JDE
