i am new to solaris , how can i prepare for interview.
A: Depends how "new" you are... and what interview...
The best preparation you could have would be to buy yourself from Ebay or a broker a real sparc box ( less than 100$..) and get working!
Then come here to ask for some challenge (it would make a change...) and try to get the appointed task to work - We will be pleased to give you our comments on how you managed and give you extra tips for the next one...
You will know by yourself when it is time to got out to the WILD and get an interview...
Alternative (what I did...) find a place correctly equiped so you can learn and practice where the deal is "I followed a Solaris tuition but feel not enough confident to go out and say I am a confirmed Solaris ... I would like to join your staff as a trainee for free during 1 year at the condition you promise me a contract as ... and this arrangement be written"...
P.S.
I went for 6 months and ended doing it for 2years... Only at the beginning I was developer on mainframe after seeing I was more confident with the OS side I passed to sysadmin ( and had a contract as sysadmin...)
Fair deal?
