MySQL temp dir

Hello everyone,
I need to install a large program,it makes error change directory to another ,can anyone tell me how?

The /tmp temporary directory doesn't have enough space for the installer. 1891 MB of free disk space is required.
Please free enough disk space in this directory and start the installer again.
Or specify a temporary directory with sufficient disk space using the .....tempdir option when you restart the installer.

as you can see you have enogh free space on the "/" (root) or /export/home filesystem
you can use /var/tmp as your temporary directory!

I know that i have a free space but i don't know how to change the directory tmp ,to another like root after installation
