OK, so memory is you problem. pgscan/s column indicates that system was very actively looking for memory pages to free up. Can you also post output of:

sar -f /var/adm/sa/sa27 -s 09:00 -e 15:00 -r

to check the amount of free memory over time.

The average scanrate since last reboot is 1239. This value stays equal to zero when enough RAM is installed.

Performance of a server

Hi, how can we define performance of a server (Windows or Unix or Linux) ? If processes waiting for CPU (on queue) are usually more than 3 or 5 can we conclude that CPU is not enough for that usage ? Thank you. (1 Reply)
