Binary file for showing last reboot
Does anyone know what is the binary file for seeing the last reboot since my wtmpx file has been dumped as of now and i am not able to see the last reboot with the command "last reboot".

Please don't say uptime, since i want to see the last 4-5 reboots for this server.

Check if wtmp is rotated. Might be wtmp.1 for instance. What version of Solaris are you using?

The wtmpx file is not rotated. I believe there is one such binary file in solaris which shows reboot time Smilie

What do you mean by last reboot if you meant last boot time then you can see the start time for the init process and see it's start time

You can also try to grep some string from /var/adm/messages (I mean some from echoed during boot phase - try the very beginning of the dmesg output where is shown initial boot process).
