Hello.
I have a problem where the non global zone does not reboot when I issue
init 6 from withinit.
I logon to the zone do

init 6

can the see "shuttingdown on signal 15" message but nothing more happens. after 10 minutes in var adm messages there is no more information written after the "shuttingdown on signal 15"
I did a

Code:

zoneadm -z myzone halt

from the global zone and it shuts down immediately.

I guess it might be a problem with a kill script but how do i find out which one?
I have not done the

logged in to the zone console would I see more details by that?

What should I look for?

ptree -z myzone

will show you what processes are stuck in that zone.

You should login to zone's console using

zlogin -C <zone-name>

Try running "reboot", whether it is successful or not. If yes, there may be issue with kill script as you mentioned.

I am not sure whether running "init 6" from zone's console will give you further information or not. But always good to check.

Note: For comimg out of zone's console press "~.".
