xdmcp on Solaris 10 x86

I recently downloaded and installed Solaris 10 on an Intel PC. I want to connect to it via XDMCP from another client.

I found you can enable xdmcp as follows:

Launch -> Applications -> Utilities -> Administration -> Login Screen Setup

Then selected the XDMCP tab and click the box that says "Enable XDMCP".

Then I rebooted, but when I run my X software (cygwin) I never get a login screen, despite whether I use boradcast, direct or indirect.

Pleast let me know how to st up xdmcp manually. Thanks.

dear lyonsd,
i've deleted your last post because you won't get the information faster if you post such utterances. see our forum as a respectable and professional forum. be polite and don't swear...

on solaris 7-9 there was the default xdmcp server always on active, don't know solaris10, but they did something about the security.
on solaris9 i needed just a
xwin.exe -query 192.xx.xx.xx
you can get several gui's when you use the $DISPLAY variable.
DISPLAY=yourip:0.0
export DISPLAY

so long
