Java File copying to Remote Location

Hi Team,

I am copying larger set of files from local to remote location through FTP.
Remote location is processing the file before copying the full set of file(less than 100%).

Remote location file process should be started post 100% file completion(full copied) and need to display some message or flag saying that file is not copied fully before processing.

Could please advise on this

Thanks
Boopathi

we were advised about possibility of similar problem with our server. so they told us to first do the copying into some other dir and then move the files on remote server. (if you have ssh besides ftp).
hm, if you only got ftp, perhaps you could send a zero-sized file with name 'zzz_this_is_last_file' and configure the remote server to wait for that one?
