could you please tell me how to reset the NVRAM after removing it from the server ??

I have had a similar problem on a V880. I took everything out, and the backplane had a bad connection somehow over the years of service. I completely stripped the server hardware wise, put it all back together and it worked fine again after that.

If these NVRAM solutions dont work, you can try something like this. Hope you get your system fixed.

It is fairly common to unseat some other component when adding boards to a system.

does a cpu/memory module have a firmware ??

does a cpu/memory module have a firmware ?? and do i need to check it before install the cpu/memory module in the motherboard ??

in case of a v8x0 server you don't need to check the FW level for cpu/mem boards. but before inserting the new hardware, do a complete powerdown (pull cables) for the server.
