  ------------------------ -------- -------- --------
    Engine 0 0.2 % 0.7 % 99.2 %

use
Code:
tail +3

or
Code:
tail -n +3

or
Code:
grep e\ 0

Code:
# cat mytst
Engine Busy Utilization CPU Busy I/O Busy Idle
  ------------------------ -------- -------- --------
    Engine 0 0.2 % 0.7 % 99.2 %
# grep e\ 0 mytst
    Engine 0 0.2 % 0.7 % 99.2 %
#

or
Code:
grep e\ [0-9]

And if your file is the ouput of an SQL statement, just turn off the header of the columns before running it.
Code:
set head off

Remove all the ^ and make another try.

Code:
sed '/Engine 0/,/Average/!d;/Average/q' pippo.out

This should work

If it still doesn't work, please upload your pippo.out file
