hi guys
right now I have 6 Virtual Machines (VMs) running on Vmware ESXi 5.1 and attached to Storage SAN.
All these run Suse Linux 11 SP1 x64.
All of a sudden 1 of these VMs is running very slow making high CPU usage and I see al wait % kinda high 40-50%. Apparently since I don't own this... (5 Replies)

I have identical M5000 machines that are needing to transfer very large amounts of data between them. These are fully loaded machines, and I've already checked IO, memory usage, etc... Please, I need help tuning my script. It works but it's too slow.
The code reads an acivity log file with 50.000 - 100.000 lines and filters error messages from it. The data in the actlog file look similar to this:

Hi Peeps,
Trying to run analyze and verify on a disk, it won't as it's telling me the disk is write protected. Anyone got any ideas on how to remove the write protection????
Didn't even know you could write protect hard disks.
