System hangs
Hi,

today when i started the OS Sun Solaris 10 it hangs on initialization. Following was shown in the end of the screen

What is the hardware of the system and can you paste both the command and output you got when starting the OS.

Solaris is installed on my local system. it worked fine and also today. but it remain idle for 1 hour so when i tried to ping it. it was not available. so restart the system. but while autobooting it stucked on the following screem

You mentioned that before you rebooted it you couldn't ping it.

As it is now stuck during boot I would look to its network connectivity.

Modern systems take ages to boot if they cannot "see" the network.

So start with the network cable and then check the NIC and the switch port.

If it is easy to replace the network cable, do so.
