Package needs to be installed for using pam_mkhomedir.so?

Hi,

What is the necessary package that needs to be installed for using pam_mkhomedir.so in pam.conf file?
And from where can i get that file?
Is that package already shipped with Solaris 10?

Because when i use that file i am getting "open_module: stat(/usr/lib/security/pam_mkhomedir.so) failed: no such file or directory"

I am in final stage of my project and without this i m unable to complete. Please help me..

Thanks.

Hi,

I have downloaded Linux-PAM-0.80 version and used it with the help of Dr. Jochen Keutel - pam_mkhomedir for Solaris.
The package is compiled and created pam_mkhomedir.so successfully.
I have inserted an entry in /etc/pam.conf:
other session required pam_mkhomedir.so skel=/etc/skel umask=0022

But when i tried login using the Active Directory credentials I am not able to login. I am able to login using root.

In the log i found some entries:
in /var/samba/log/log.winbindd
nsswitch/winbindd_util.c: (230) Could not receive trustdoms

in /var/samba/log/log.wb-SEMA
rpc_api_pipe: remote machine WIN2008.sema.com pipe /NETLOGON fnum 0x4005returned cretical error. Error was NT_STATUS_PIP_DISCONNECTED

Please help me in resolving this..
