if you enter "boot cdrom" and the server is booting from the default device there is a good chance that your cd/dvd is not working. from what media are you trying to boot?

In T2000 machine
when i give init 0 it is not gooing to OK prompt
can any one tell me why this happend to me
it is directly going to SC> prompt(ALOM)

when i type
auto-boot?=false and reboot the machine it is supposed to go OK> prompt
but it is not going. and also value changes to auto-boot=true
moreover
when i give shutdown -y -i0 -g is not directly going to SC> prompt instead of OK> prompt
MACHINE IS T2000
please help me

please post the output of the command "eeprom" before and after this command:

after setting the eeprom auto-boot?=false
now auto-boot?=false
but wen i do reboot again its like
auto-boot?=true

btw. is it possible that you are working in a zone?
