If every machine is named "unknown", you'll have a hard time having them communicating together using that name. In any case, you need first to make sure you have configured your virtual machines to be in the same IP network.

Ok.

So do I need to folllow with statis IP addressing???

Because rght nw its DHCP. And I think static IP addressing will allow me to choose hostname.....

Will it work if I keep the master server as it is and create new VM with static IP addressing rather than DHCP...???
