Solaris

Hi Im trying to set the colour depth in solaris 9 (ultra 10 creator 3D). So I copyed Xservers from /usr/dt/config to /etc/dt/config and added -defdepth=24 in the end of the last line direct after -nobanner . Now if I do #Xsun the mouce works and the solaris logotype appears , so the xservers seems to works with that configuration but when I reboot It just says unable to start xservers when I get to the dt login. Pleace help.

It may be worth checking whether the change you made is really what broke your system. Roll it back and see if it works. If it doesn't you may have other issues that we can help you trace.

Hi when I changed back it worked out great. And when I changed back again it worked great so it must be a type o. Thanks for your reply.
