Solaris x86 Question

I have a X4600 box whose one of root disk has gone bad hardware error. I have another disk mirror but that is detached .. i do not have cdrom to boot from nor any x86 jumpstart server how can i boot the server from the alternate disk from the grub or failsafe mode

you can boot the server over the ilom... you can attach a iso file and boot it. maybe you've to do a ilom upgrade first.
if the disks are properly mirrored, pull the defect disk and use the mirror to boot.

I know that Sun make s a version of Solaris for Sparc platforms and also an x86 (Intel/AMD) release of Solaris.
