Hello,

I plan to take the SCSA exam. I think if I have a Sparc machine that will be very helpful, though I could run VMWare on Win system. So could anyone know where I can buy a used workstaion. I am not dare going to eBay , (I am not sure the source is reliable). I live in up NY state.
And what kind of system suits the situation, Ultra10(cheap,ha)...?

Why not say Ebay? I just found a nice little buy on
there for my Snr Unix Admin to buy. He picked up a
Ultra 10 (Nicely spec'ed) for $450. He is going to pay
cash when he picks it up and checks it out.

I'm in Australia so don't know what $450 is in $USD.


Also try searching for a auction online for when companies
go bust they auction everything off to try make some
money. I don't know what the US ones are though we do
have a few good things in OZ. A mate of mine picked up
2 21" Sonay monitors (CRT) for $500 (for both of them) at a
company auction.

Try a search on google for purchasing used Sun equipment.
That shoudl come up with a few results.
