Help with Solaris install
Just installed Solaris X86 on a Intel laptop. The installation went well however, at the boot screen, I get 2 options:

Solaris 10/10/08 s10x_u6wos_07b X86
Solaris failsafe

If I select Solaris 10/10/08 s10x_u6wos_07b X86, the system goes to black screen then reboots. Trying to figure out where I went wrong.

Add "-kv -m verbose" to the grub boot menu entry at the end of the kernel line to try seeing where it crashes.

boots too fast can't see what the error is. I'm going to reinstall the OS to see if that corrects it.

check what tty is assigned change it from grub

Go to Solaris FailSafe mode

and then look at /var/log

seems it`s a Xorg problem.

Which graphic card you have ?

also go and download the latest solaris 10 version. yours is 2 years old...
