Help with minix
hey guys

i hope there is someone familiar with minix that can help me. Well, the problem i am sitting with is that a ran a program with an infinite loop in it, now i think i ran out of memory in the root because a keep on getting the message " no space on the root device 3/128 ", whenever i try to logon minix. how do i solve this problem ? I have a very important program inside the root, but can not login as the root. can someone help ??

Boot from cdrom, housekeep your root filesystem. remove shadow passwd for root, just in case.

how do you boot from cdrom ? i am using vMware player

I am not familar with minix on VMware but the general approach is to boot to single user mode, fsck the other filesystems, mount them and do your cleanup.
