this is the output of the metastat. Now the disk c0t3d0 is corrupted. Now
according to output the slices from this disk are used to create metadevices d28 and d31. It means these stripes are also corrupted.
model1 and model2 are my database schemas which i am not able to access. Now The disk c0t3d0 is being replaced.
now how the mirrors and the stripes be brought to the same state.
can some one provide me with the step by step details. Its urgent and any help will be much appreciated.
please search the forums before such posts. there are several posts that tackle this exact situation
something like this should help you along Replacing a Failed Disk in Solaris Mirror (SVM)
just realize that your disk's will be different and not all the commands may apply (step by step) to you. adjust where needed

I created a bootable CD from Slax and can now access my crashed HD files. Problem is I can't move them to my USB HD even though the device is recognized. From what I have learned, I must "mount" the old HD and the good USB drive and then enter a copy command to permit the transfer (many GB's).
