Export snoop file from an ftp server to a windows pc

Hi,

I have a snoop file that I captured on a solaris machine. I ftp'd it to ftp server. How can I export this snoop file from the solaris machine or the ftp server to a windows PC so I can load it to wireshark and analyze it?

Thanks,

simply scp/ftp (whatever) the sniffer capture file to your windows machine. however, make sure you save the traffic capture file as something that can be read by your analyzer.

the core FTP works great for me when I use it to import a file from my ftp server to my windows machine.

I try winscp to connect to the Solaris box directly(not to a ftp server) to get the file there and I could not connect at all. I will try to see what the issue is. But, In the meantime, I have a workaround using the core FTP by getting the file from the ftp server.

Thanks everyone.
