globalzone solaris 10 patching question

I was applying patch on global zone and got the error message saying.

Quote:
One or more zones are not in the "running" state
Please be sure all zones are booted into single user.
ex. zoneadm -z <zonename> boot -s
This installation will ABORT
What may be the problem? Do I need to mount the nonglobal zone file system? IF is use mountall -l would mount all the file system?

Thanks in advance.

you should boot the system to single user and apply your patches. where is your patch log?

Yes, when I try to install from the single user mode I got this error message. Do I need to shutdown non globalzone before we apply patches?

You may do so, when you're patching the globalzone, the localzones are not going to be available anyway

The message tells to boot each zone in single user mode and shows the command to do it. Did you try that ?
