Setting memory and cpu limitation for a process

Hi Experts,

I have a process on my running server. Now I want to set a memory and cpu usage limitation for that process. I googled it but am not getting required thing.

Please explain in brief, that how to start a process with resource limitation and if the process is already running then how to increase the limitation.

I hope, experts will help me make this task complete.

Thanks,
Deepak

Thanks DukeNuke2 for your interest in my query. I was aware that this can be accomplished by using projects/resource manager. I just wanted to know if limitations can be set hitting some commands or can be increased of a running process.

Thanks,
Deepak

Reading your initial posting, that wasn't obvious. To clarify, please tell how did you set the memory and cpu usage for that process.

According to the documentation, you can dynamically apply changes to a running process, a task or a project.
