doubt regarding crontab entry

Can anyone tell me , in crontab week starts from Monday or Sunday which one mention as 1...

Also please let me know what is the use of export term=vt100...

Sunday is 0. "man -a crontab" will tell you that.

The TERM definition tells the program how to output whatever it needs to output. You may not care (especially if no output or output is being tossed), but the program doesn't know that, so it needs it,
