Hello,
I have to backup users from one server and put them on another server. I have tried cp -pr, copied over the passwd, group, shadow and appended the users from the old server to the new servers files, rebooted and still can't login. when I type smbclient \\\\MYSERVER\\someuser at the prompt, it asks me to log in with the password for that user, and when I put it in, it says NT_USER_LOGIN_FAILURE eveyrtime, while at the linux terminal. 1) make sure you have the latest version of perl installed
2) make sure you have NET:aemon installed
