I'm using solaris 10 with latest patches applied. I'm using samba to make a directory called /dir1 available from a windows 2003 server.
If I do a 'Map network drive' on win 2003 server, I get the error:

Hi I have an issue with a client. He was able to use his mounted Samba share for a long time. However, a couple of days ago, he wasn't able to access all of his files all of a sudden. He still see's the share and majority of the files, but not some that he needs.

I have Samba 3.0.20b installed on a RHE9 server.
I have a mix of 2k and XP pro stations through out my office.
I have 2 shares on the samba server.
If on a 2k machine I do a search for a file on 1 of the shares I find the files.

install-solaris invokes the Solaris Install program. Depending on graphical capability and available memory at the time of invocation,
install-solaris invokes either a text-based installer or a graphical installer.
The following minimum requirements for physical memory dictate which features are available during installation:
For SPARC machines:
128 MB
Minimum physical memory for all installation types
128 MB
Minimum physical memory required for windowing system
384 MB
Minimum physical memory required for graphical-based installation
For x86 machines:
256 MB
Minimum physical memory for all installation types
256 MB
Minimum physical memory required for windowing system
512 MB
Minimum physical memory required for graphical-based installation
In some cases, even if the minimum physical memory is present, available virtual memory after system startup can limit the number of fea-
tures available.
install-solaris exists only on the Solaris installation media (CD or DVD) and should be invoked only from there. Refer to the for more
