Gani Network Driver Won't Install - make: Fatal error: Don't know how to make targ...
I attached a README file that I will refer to.

I successfully completed everything in the README file until step 4.

I'm not familiar with what the 'make' command does but what does it mean when it doesn't know how to make target 'install'? How do I tell it how to make target 'install'? Smilie

From your posted output, you didn't follow the instructions and haven't actually performed the make before you tried the make install...

Can I Install the Gani Network Driver Using the Application that Came on the CD?

When I boot up the Solaris 10 5/09 install CD and select 'Solaris' from the GRUB menu that comes up, a menu loads. Option 5 is 'Apply Driver Updates'. Can I install the Gani driver using that?
