Network interface statistic reset

Hi, all!

Can anybody tell me how can I reset network statistic, which could be
seen by command 'netstat -i' or 'dladm show-dev -s'?

if i remember right only a system reboot will reset this...

You can actually reset these statistics by unplumbing, unloading the driver then reloading it and plumbing again the interface.

Of course, there might be some odd effects with the ongoing connections.
