Solaris zone issues

Hi, Configuring a new zone in Solaris 10, even though used svcadm to enable the service telnet, it give the following state always

enabled uninitialized svc:/network/telnet:default

Also noticed the same is happening while enabling other services too.

Any ideas.

Thanks for your help.

Perhaps did you fail to configure the zone after the initial booting.

Did you connect to the zone console ? (zlogin -C zonename).

Yes, the zone is booted and applications are running fine. I only noticed this issue when i am trying disable/enable services.

I'm afraid you do not really answer my question.
With zones, applications can run on a booted but unitialized OS.
Did you connect to the zone console ?
What says dmesg ?
Are some services running ?

I was able to connect to the console of the zone and it was at login prompt.

Being i had to complete this, deleted the zone and re-created it. The applications are re-installed, the zone is just fine. Services can be enabled/disabled.

Many thanks for your reply.

Sometime one skips some important step while using a manual process. I like to install zones with automated scripts. That way it always works the same and there is no surprises.
This is a pertinent article that has scripts in its attachement to make zones automatically. It may help.
