Ftp tool for unix
I am looking for a unix based ftptool. solaris 5.8 version

the ftp client comes with solaris. if you want others like ncftp, etc, go to sunfreeware.com

Ftp tool
I now about the ftp that comes with the solaris 5.8. I downloaded FTPtool-4.6, and extracted it with gtar xvzf filename. It extracted it but now it talks something about imake? I talked with some co workers and it has to be compiled. Can't get it to work.

so why are you not using the ftp that comes with it?? do you need some extra features not present with it?

exactly, I have user's that don't know the comands and it is just easier to use the FTPTOOL.

CoreFTP is good.
