how can t recover a crashed Solaris10 on Sparc
Hi all,
currently i'm running solaris 10 on Sun Fire v880 i crashed the system by mistake and now the system cannot boot
It gets keep showing error messages on the eprom prompt
is there any steps or procedures can i follow to recover the system to it's previous state

first of all thanks for your reply
i'm not sure what crashed the system , right now i'm not near from the machine to get error messages
but is there any guidelines or procedures i follow to recover the system to it's previous state

I think the error as the following
WARNNING : mod_loadi cannot load module 'tmpfs'
WARNNING : cannot mount /etc/svc/volatile

can you boot to single user mode?

Ouch. To begin troubleshooting we need to know what caused the crash or what was going on when it crashed. If we cannot figure it out here you might need to rebuild the OS.

i tried to boot in single user mode but nothing happend
the machine keeps restarting after showing the error
i uploaded a short video for the error

I'm not sure what exactly cause the errors .
but if its not possible to recover the entire system can i recover data from disks
what steps do i need to take in recovery process

recover a corrupted solaris10 system /usr/lib

did something very dump under /usr/lib, eg: overwite a bunch of files from a similar system's /usr/lib, while the system is live..
