Installing Solaris 10 on IBM Netfinity 5500

Hi, I am in the process of installing Solaris 10 on my IBM Netfinity 5500 Pentium II box, I load disk 1, it boots to the menu and I select Solaris, it counts the dots, and hangs at the User Licence terms and stays there for a while and then reboots.

Anyone that has experienced this, please advise how I can get around this so that I can install Solaris 10.

Much appreciate any help or direction on this matter

Mike

maybe you can't get it to run on such old hardware... have you checked the HCL at:
Solaris OS: Hardware Compatibility Lists

You can directly go there and run the Sun Device Detection Tool 2.2:
BigAdmin HCL: Sun Device Detection Tool
