My solaris nfs is odd.

Dear all,
I have an odd question.
We have a lot of solaris computers.
computer A, share some nfs directory(Directory 1, 2. Directory 1 mount disk 1, Directory 2 mount disk2 ).
Computer B, C, D and E, all can showmount -e A, the result is good. they all can see the directory 1 and 2.
However,
The autofs seems doesn't work.
Computer B, C, and D can autofs A's Directory 1 and 2.
But computer E can not autofs A's Directory 1 and 2.
If I reboot E, then E can autofs Directory 1 and 2.

When computer A share a new directory 3. Computer E can not autofs directory 3.
Why ??
I am confused.

Did you check the log file to see what happen? Did you try to do a manual mount for computer B and C. What is the configuration for autofs?
You need to restart autofs when you create a share point.

correction you don't need restart autofs when creating a new share point but restart it is not a bad idea.

Thank you congngo.
I can not find any log file.
The /var/nfs/ is empty.
Where is the config of autofs?
The auto_master is default.
I didn't change anything.

auto_master is just one of the files. You need to modify that one. You need to search web and do some some research on autofs.
