error in 2nd h/w raid X86

Hi Group,

I have just installed Solaris 10 u6 on X86 server,

"uname -a
SunOS db9 5.10 Generic_137138-09 i86pc i386 i86pc"

I am having two hardware raids in it

first is raid 1 280 gb
secound is raid 5 550 gb


OS is installed on first raid and working very fine


But while I am trying to do following

# format
Searching for disks...done

I am also getting thease errors

Unable to read Disk geometry



please suggest what can be the possible problem

I have set up hardware raid on a couple of Sun servers running Solaris 10 and found in each case that a reboot was necessary before the OS properly saw the configuration of the raid device. Annoying, but it did work just fine after rebooting.
