if vfstab has "mount at boot" to "no" i won't mount the fs during boot. so if i ask for something, you can post it or not but don't expect any further help...

"mount at boot" is set to yes.

This is not an easy one. Sun support has not solved it yet in three weeks.

again, will you post "vfstab" and point out which fs are mounted and which not? is this changing or are they allways the same which won't mount?

have you entred a timeout option for the nfs mounts? try "timeo=1200" in your vfstab file in the options section... this is 120 seconds. maybe you've to wait longer... this might be network/autoneg problems with your interfaces/switch ports...

which nfs version is used to share the directorys on server side?

Something worth checking is that the "mount at boot time" column in the vfstab for all the NFS mounts has a yes" in it?

Otherwise if some of the NFS servers are a bit slow or many network hops away then increasing the retry count in the NFS parameters in the vfstab mount line.

It's Solaris 9. Here is the /etc/vfstab entry for the NFS in trouble to mount after boot:

IPaddress:/ok/here/a00 - /ok/here/a00 nfs - yes rw,suid,bg,intr,hard
