EMC Storage and Solaris

Hi all

I am a total newb to Solaris and still battling to find my way around Solaris.

My main job function is a Storage Admin. On the windows side I am fine but Solaris I am battling.

I need help understanding SAN storage on Solaris.

1. How to find info on HBA's (Manage to look at FCINFO but it does not
give info on SAN Directors)
2. How to find what storage has been assigned from the SAN and where
are the devices mounted
3. My main concern is how do I assign allocate new storage from the SAN
The parts that I do from SAN (mapping and masking I can manage)
But what then from after that. How do I detect the devices, how to I
find my specific device I just provsioned (taking into account there may
already be 100 SAN devices allocated on the host)
4. How to I mount the device, format it and prepare it for usage. Again
take intoaccount I am a newby
