Laconica (pronounced "luh-KAWN-ih-kuh") is amicroblogging platform. It helps people in acommunity, company, or group to exchange short(140 character) messages over the Web. Users canchoose which people to "follow" and receive onlytheir friends' or colleagues' status messages.
