Config::Model::Backend::Augeas provides a bridgebetween Config::Modeland Augeas configuration managements systems (àla /etc, not SCM).Augeas is able to load and write data whilerespecting the structureand comments of the original configuration file.Config::Model is ableto validate the semantic content of theconfiguration file, but it willdiscard all comments and will write backconfiguration data using acanonical order.License: GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL)Changes:
Lot of improvements were made to deal correctlywith complex Augeas lenses. The correct order ofconfiguration parameters is ensured byConfig::Model (this cannot always be achieved withAugeas). This release was tested with Hosts andSshd lens. Note that an Augeas bug requires thismodule to be run with LANG='C'.
