Mylene is a command line MPEG audio player. It canplay plain and system embedded MPEG audio streamsand works for Linux OSS and ALSA emulated OSS andMac OS X. The player can be used interactively bytelling it to establish a UNIX or INET server onwhich commands can be received. It featuressophisticated song selection filters, the abilityto interpret programs written in a C-likeprogramming language and user formatted textoutput among others. The seek-h262 MPEG decoder isrequired for audio and system MPEG decoding.
